The Jeevan Coping with Cancer Project, operates out of Lokmanya Tilak Municipal General Hospital, Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College, Topiwala National Medical College &amp; B.Y.L. Nair Charitable Hospital, and King Edward Memorial Hospital, in Mumbai. It provides psychosocial counselling, medical and educational assistance, livelihood support, and even scholarships to persons affected by cancer.\u00a0 Over the past nine years, the Jeevan Coping with Cancer Project has supported nearly 27,500 patients across these three hospitals.&lt;\/p&gt;\n&lt;!-- \/wp:paragraph --&gt;\n\n&lt;!-- wp:paragraph --&gt;\n&lt;p&gt;Ms. Manasi Patil is among the many who received support from the project. The 36-year-old diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer, benefited from personalized treatments and financial support through the Jeevan Coping with Cancer Project at Nair Hospital. The training at ASDC combines theoretical and practical components with a 40:60 ratio, ensuring students gain hands-on industry experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To help give these students real world professional experience, Allcargo Logistics and Allcargo Terminal Limited launched an internship program for ASDC-trained students on a pilot basis. This tailored internship program, initiated in December 2023, has successfully completed three batches, with the fourth batch currently in progress. The program has been integrated into our ongoing initiatives due to its notable positive outcomes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are delighted to report that 27 students have completed the internship program, gaining hands-on experience with real-time processes. As a result, 50% of them have secured employment in various organizations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This initiative by Allcargo is not only creating job opportunities but also paving the way for personal growth and community advancement.
