Health camp leaves a significant impact in terms of providing better health care to the marginalized sections.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 11<sup>th<\/sup> January 2022&nbsp; a free&nbsp;medical health camp for the community people of Athikaribettu Panchayath&nbsp;was organized at Panchayath hall, Athikaribettu, near Mangalore. The camp was organized in association with Prajna Counselling Centre, KMC Hospital, Attavar, Athikaribettu Gram Panchayath, Athikaribettu Milk cooperative society, Bramhari Mahila Mandal and Kunjaragiri Mahila Mandal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A total of\u00a0\u00a0179 community members (42 men, 126 women and 11 children) attended and took the benefits of the health camp. Doctors were drawn from General medicine, ENT, OBG, Ophthalmology, Ortho and Pediatric to run the health camp. Common problems treated in the health camp included\u00a0abdominal pain, allergies, fever, cold and cough, headache, problems related to eyes, ears, throat, back pain etc. A total of 38 cases were referred for further free\/concessional treatment and 91others received spectacles at concessional rate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another free\u00a0Medical health camp for the community people of Kemral\u00a0Panchayath\u00a0was organized on 15<sup>th<\/sup> February 2022\u00a0 at Panchayath hall, Kemral.
