The Ashram was in need of help to provide shelter to 62 children who reside there.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ramkrishna\nTapovana a public charitable trust is located in Polali, New Mangalore. The\nAshram resides 62 children hailing from economically poor family and are given\nfree education, food, clothing and so on. The Ashram also distributes books,\nwriting materials and uniforms to 900 school students.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Running such\na huge Ashram which provides Spiritual, Educational and Socio Cultural\nactivities throughout the year, requires planning and fund arrangements;\nhowever this got challenging due to the current pandemic situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Allcargo has\nsupported the Ashram in order to stabilize these activities. They supported the\nAshram with Rs.150000. Allcargo Chairman, Shashi Kiran Shetty has adopted 20\nstudents of the Ashram and the support has been on- going since the past three\nyears. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ramakrishna\nAshram have taken all precautionary measures like sanitization, social\ndistancing, use of masks, maintaining hygiene etc. to avoid infecting\/spreading\nCOVID-19 in the Ashram for inmates and children. Public entry is very much\nrestricted and only in special cases with prior permission few are allowed\ninside the gate on certain urgent issues.
