Together\nthe activity was executed to reach out to 250 underprivileged families\ncomprising over 750 members affected by the covid-19 induced lockdown. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The family members included disabled, pregnant women, widow, elderly and\nchildren. Since all the bread winners are mostly daily wagers, this lock down\ndue to Covid-19 has been tough on their livelihood with no earnings, forcing\nthem to have insufficient meals per day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The initiative of supporting needy and deserving families had a huge\nimpact in the life of the affected people. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"727\" height=\"353\" src=\"https:\/\/www.allcargogroup.in\/compass\/avashya-outreach\/wp-content\/uploads\/02a.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1669\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.allcargogroup.in\/compass\/avashya-outreach\/wp-content\/uploads\/02a.jpg 727w, https:\/\/www.allcargogroup.in\/compass\/avashya-outreach\/wp-content\/uploads\/02a-300x146.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 727px) 100vw, 727px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Grocery kits comprising rice, dal, sugar, salt and other essentials like\nvegetables were distributed to marginalized communities and families residing\nin slums as part of the RAHAT project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The families belonged to the socially and economically backward\ncommunities in Molachur village in Tindivanam Taluk, Narikuravr Kudiiruppu in\nSunammedu villag and Chengalpattu district along with families of the other\ncommunities living near Jamaat of Mount Road Chennai in Tamil Nadu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"651\" height=\"317\" src=\"https:\/\/www.allcargogroup.in\/compass\/avashya-outreach\/wp-content\/uploads\/02b.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1670\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.allcargogroup.in\/compass\/avashya-outreach\/wp-content\/uploads\/02b.jpg 651w, https:\/\/www.allcargogroup.in\/compass\/avashya-outreach\/wp-content\/uploads\/02b-300x146.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 651px) 100vw, 651px\" \/><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Through RAHAT project Avashya Foundation reached out to over 750 members in Chennai\u2019s rural villages, for supporting underprivileged families during COVID19 crisis Avashya Foundation partnered with Foundation of His Sacred Majesty (FHSM) in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
